Waleed Almarhoum

Waleed Al-Marhoum, a Saudi photographer, possesses a distinct perspective characterized by an exceptional attention to detail and a unique way of perceiving the world. His fascination lies in unstructured compositions, where forms flow freely, unconstrained by order. Al-Marhoum initially embarked on his artistic journey as a calligrapher, transforming the alphabet into geometric shapes. However, in 2005, he shifted his focus to photography as a means to express his vision of his community. His inaugural solo exhibition, "Visual Sensations," showcased a collection of his captivating landscape photographs at the Empty Quarter Gallery in Jeddah. These works were inspired by the sheer beauty of nature. Al-Marhoum's portfolio includes participation in over 15 exhibitions across Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai, and Kuwait, along with his involvement in the Telepathy Exhibition at Quincy House, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
