Traces That Remain

The exhibition “Traces That Remain” by the late artist Khaled Al-Suwaine’ focuses on a specific aspect of his artistic journey, presenting a selection of his calligraphic works alongside curated pieces from his personal archive.

In this body of calligraphic work, Khaled Al-Suwaine’ approaches the letter as an open visual element—one that interacts with color and composition, breaking free from its traditional structure to offer a dynamic, abstract interpretation.

In addition, the exhibition features selected items from the archive of the Saudi artist Abdullah Nawawi, allowing a closer look into the artist’s world and revealing some of the paths that shaped his artistic experience.

So that the trace remains present—between the letter and its memory.
