Abdullah Al-Marzouq is a Saudi artist who employs various artistic mediums in his works. He studied fine arts in the 1980s in the United States. Upon his return, he worked as an artistic director for youth associations in Dammam and Al-Qatif for over 15 years, during which he conducted specialized art courses in painting, pottery, and printmaking. Al-Marzouq has represented the Kingdom in numerous international art exhibitions and has showcased his works in various group exhibitions. His previous major body of work was a series called "The Arab House," in which he incorporated numerous heritage symbols in visual forms. His second series, "Desert Rainbow," further honed his techniques, relying on abstract art and various multimedia such as transistors, cardboard, and burlap. His latest work, "Occupation Space," incorporates Arabic calligraphy, creating an interplay of overlapping materials in his artistic expression.
