Nahar Marzooq is a Saudi Arabian ar4st whose artwork evokes Islamic heritage in his usage of Arabic calligraphy and references to important heritage sites and mosques. His innova4ve approach to calligraphy is part of the evolu4on of the prac4ce and welcomes a new stage on how calligraphy can be u4lized in art. He currently manages the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah. Marzooq has par4cipated in several exhibi4ons both in Saudi Arabia and interna4onally. His artworks are part of collec4ons in Saudi Arabia, as well as in the UAE, Lebanon, Egypt and France.
